If you are going to make a cake stand with the laser cutting machine, there are various material alternatives for you. We can choose materials such as a cardboard with colorful patterns, wooden boards of different trees or mdf, plywood, acrylic, plastic sheets. We can paint wood materials with colors that go with our cake. We can cover them with varnishes that will provide beauty and durability to the wood. We can add patterns on our stand with decoupage, stencil and transfer methods. Finished products as well as semi-finished products for craft can be made with laser cutting machines. These semi-finished products can be used in craft activities for wood painting, stencil, transfer technique, decoration.
To use this idea and make a cake holder, you can choose a material of 6 mm thickness. You can combine the 2-dimensional pieces you will get and create a 3-dimensional decorative cake stand.
