Explore our one-of-a-kind laser-cut dollhouse plan tailored for wood, balsa, plywood, and MDF materials. Designed for children and collectors alike, this two-story toy dollhouse plan boasts a hinge door and roof design, making it a popular and entertaining choice for kids.
Are dollhouses still popular?
The satisfaction of seeing familiar objects in a smaller scale holds an unexplainable appeal for both children and adults. That’s why dollhouses remain popular among kids and adults alike. Not only do they provide hours of fun for children, but they also help develop mental, physical, and social skills. Dollhouses aren’t just popular among kids; collectors, designers, and artisans also appreciate their creative outlet. Collecting miniature furniture, sofas, clocks, wallpapers, interior decorations, figurines, and other intricate details is a hobby for many adults.
What age group are toy dollhouses for?
Most girls will enjoy playing with dollhouses even as they approach their teenage years. However, the sweetest period for playing with these toys is typically between ages 3 and 6. After this age group, kids can transition to treating dollhouses as a creative hobby, since ages 7-14 are crucial for developing creativity.
About the Exclusive Laser Cut Dollhouse Plan and Templates
In this project, we’ve created and published an exclusive wooden dollhouse plan and laser cutting files for CNC-based laser cutters. These files include popular laser cutting formats such as DXF, SVG, CDR, and PDF. The design features two hinged doors that can be closed when playtime is over, ensuring miniature objects don’t get lost. If your child has a display table in their room, the mini toy house can also serve as a decorative object.
The roof of the dollhouse is designed to open and close, with a handle for easy transportation. We’ve added many realistic details to this toy house design, such as laser-engraved brick wall patterns on the wood, roof tile patterns, and window protrusion pieces.
The design consists of 28 2D pieces that need to be cut using laser cutting machines. Once assembled, you’ll have a 3D puzzle dollhouse. For laser cutting these parts, you can choose materials like 6mm thick MDF, plywood, or wood plates.
